Wondering who I voted for?
Bianca Morin gets my VOTE! Here is why… About Bianca Morin Bianca Morin has worked tirelessly with many charity events over the past decade but what really got my attention was her work on the Curebatten fundraiser in 2015.
About Curebatten This fundraiser was brought to Naperville because Kristan Gray, a former resident, and 1993 Alumni of Naperville North, had a young child diagnosed with this disease. This fundraiser raised $385k for the research of curing this disease. Bianca worked alongside many people and businesses of Naperville to raise these funds.
Bianca was invited to join the Edward Foundation in late 2015 to help chair The Big Gig Fundraiser. This event raised $850k and turned out to be the biggest event to date.
This was followed by being asked to join the Hesed House Derby Party Fundraiser event 2016. Bianca has been very involved with this event for the last 3 years. Since Bianca has been involved with Hesed House Derby Party they have raised over 1.2 million dollars to directly fund this local shelter in Aurora to fight against homelessness.
After seeing Bianca’s impact with these charities, Mayor Steve Cherico asked Bianca personally to join the Mayor’s Golf Outing and ram up this fundraiser. This event had struggled for years, and Bianca completely overhauled it. This is now known as the Mayor’s Charity Harvest Party. The last two years its been sold out long in advance, and has donated over $150k to 8 local family charities.
Lastly, Bianca and her husband have joined the Ultimate Road Rally (URR) three years ago. This group is heavily involved with the Illinois State Police Heritage Foundation. This foundation raises money for fallen Illinois State Police troopers families and a memorial wall down in Springfield. Upon winning the rally with Team Brighton Auto Detailing May of 2018 all our prize money of $10k was immediately donated right back to this foundation.
Among all of these events, Bianca has found time to donate her time to other local events held at Iron Gate Motor Condos in Naperville. Iron Gate Motor Condos holds Cal’s Angles close to their heart. They have raised not only monies but true life experiences to terminally ill children. They have helped them forget about their illness for a bit by offering rides in fancy cars with road closures and police escorts.
In all, Bianca has been in partnership of raising over $2 million across these charities.
She has shown exemplary commitment to her community in her lifetime.
