Teaching Practicum and Mastery Requirement

To demonstrate teaching competency, students must submit ten recorded classes, each 30 minutes in length.

These recordings are used to assess:

• Clarity of cueing

• Sequencing and pacing

• Use of modifications

• Safety and anatomical awareness

• Professional presence and teaching confidence

Recordings may be filmed independently and submitted digitally. This requirement ensures graduates demonstrate practical teaching ability, not just theoretical knowledge.
