Need a Re-Train?

Need a Re-Train?

Did you earn your 200-hour yoga teacher training online with a cheap training? No judgement! Let me help!

During the shutdowns, people were looking for things to pass the time. Many got into the best shape of their life, others binge watched movies on Netflix, and some took courses to pick-up a new skill. I was the latter.

Over the last two and a half years, I’ve taken SO many trainings online to make good use of the time. Here’s a list of some of my favorites:

  • Art Therapy

  • Yoga Anatomy

  • Lightroom

  • Photoshop

  • Filmmaking

  • Dog Psychology (I adopted a puppy)

  • Health Coach

  • Life Coach

  • EFT Tapping Coach

  • Photography

  • Drone Pilot

  • …and probably some I forgot.

There is no shame in the “pick your price” model...and it can be a good way to learn something new. It rarely, however, includes the level of interactive mentorship and lab componenets to give you a chance to take your new skills for a spin. Watching pre-recorded lessons will get you partially there, but not to a master of your craft.

This is where we come in!

The Edge community is known for hands-on experience. Many of our Alum go on to open their own studio…and so much more.

Yoga Alliance has historically been a registry that tracks who trained with whom, and when. In these changing times, they have shifted from a registry to an actual association that offers education. This may be good news to you…or not. Either way, the training that took place during the shutdown has left many hiring managers wondering how solid the 200-hour program really is.

Here’s what you need to land most gigs as a Yoga Instructor:

  • A solid audition;

  • Pleasant attitude;

  • Awareness of anatomy;

  • How to assemble a yoga class; and

  • Social Media presence.

Let us train you on these things to help you land your dream gig. Sign up this week and enjoy a FREE audition film to submit to your future employers.

BONUS: Sign up now and also get a FREE headshot to spruce up your social icons. That photography training really comes in handy!!

You already have the credentials, now let’s get you the skills!

This is a forty-hour program offered several times a week both online and in-person, so you can choose the right training for you! Either way, it will be interactive to ensure you can practice your skills.

Have questions? Shoot Michelle Rae Sobi a CHAT to get a conversation started. As for me, I will be working towards offering Wellness Retreats in exotic places where I will create amazing drone videos and photograph the local foodstuffs. I hope to see you there!

Namaste,
