The setup of the room is essential for establishing a community feel and a smooth day of programming. Please do not move your mat once we have begun the day. We ask that only conversations that observe the Yamas take place during our workshops. If you feel you need a break, feel free to walk the grounds for a walking meditation. Feel free to bring a snack, but try to hold off from big meals with heavy smells. There is a picnic table outside for you to have a meal, should you need one. Per Yoga Alliance, breaks beyond 10 minutes must be deducted from training hours. As such, there is a ten-minute break every hour. You also have the option to skip an event and walk the grounds or take a meditation. All events require a journal reflection to be submitted via Slack within a day...don't worry about them being messy, just snap a photo and submit them. If you are enrolled in one of our programs, there is no fee for this workshop. If you are not enrolled in one of our programs, separate events will be posted to Eventbrite, so feel free to share and invite a friend! Michelle will be setting up at the beginning and end of the day, so please send your questions via Slack to support her in making sure all of the i's are dotted and t's are crossed. If you have something that is time sensitive, please see your Peer Leader Billy for support. We are here to offer the most loving experience possible and appreciate your time beyond words! You can earn CECs in this event, please send the request via Slack.
Thank you so very much for being part of our tribe. You are greatly appreciated!
Namaste,
Michelle
