Costa Rica, anyone?

It's that time of year again, and I am thinking about Costa Rica! Who wants to go?

Who is ready for a getaway? If you are interested in joining me on a yoga retreat to Costa Rica, reply to this message! I am hoping to book this retreat yoga teacher training intensive between January and March of THIS YEAR! The Basics... This is the resort I have my eye on. Some suites are less expensive, but I am looking at the swim up room. I have not made my final decision on the resort, but do want something within an hour of the airport that offers shuttle service. The mountains are prettier than the beach...and much closer...in my humble opinion. Dates... The dates are currently flexible, but cost is less expensive during the week. The first ones to book will help pick the final dates. Airfare... I recommend United as a nonstop flight of five hours, and the chosen resort will provide transport from the airport. If you have points through another airline, feel free to meet me at the resort. TIP: Carry On Luggage Only. Hours... You may earn up to ten yoga teacher training hours daily, based on the activities you choose. Most are Ala Carte and some are offered directly from the venue. You may decide each day what is right for you, but events will be subject to availability.

I took a number of beautiful photos while in Costa Rica, including this one. This piece will be featured at Naper Settlement's upcoming Art Show. Look for it in late January! I call this piece "Through the Looking Glass" and hope to capture many more beautiful images on this trip...to include Yoga Asana via drone, if I can manage it. Let me know if you are interested in an Asana Photoshoot in Costa Rica!!

More Deets... Refunds... No refunds. Due to the nature of things, this retreat is non-refundable. You may gift it to another, if you like. Retreat goers will book their own airfare and lodging. Tuition to attend the retreat may be credited for any program at michelleraesobi.com, if you are unable to go. In order to extend these offerings, I must meet a minimum of attendees, and close registration to ensure a small group. There are no exceptions to this policy, and I appreciate your understanding. Venue... I had the good fortune to visit Costa Rica in 2019 and nearly took a pass on going at that time. Needless to say, I am so grateful I went, as it was not an option in 2020. At that time, I took a number of pictures and scouted some venues. Here is what I found and would be open to visiting again: Aloft, San Jose Affordable lodging for arrival day and/or departure if you are looking to keep expenses down. I often stay at a local hotel near the airport when I travel, and then stay at a luxury hotel for a few days between. Tabacon Thermal Resort - Day Pass This is my heaven. If I am ever able to choose my final destination, it would be at this Thermal Spa at the top of the Arenal Volcano in Costa Rica. It was nothing short of breathtaking. I took a travel bus up the volcano from Aloft in San Jose, had a white linen diner with some of the most delicate foodstuffs I've ever eaten. This is a great reason to stay at the Aloft, and then head to a five-star resort the next day. Arenal Volcano Trip Advisory Review There are many activities to choose from on these day adventures. I recommend reading the Trip Advisory and only selecting adventures with a minimum of five hundred reviews. Edge is not affiliated with any group on this retreat, and is released from any liability. Book early and help me plan what we do! I am hoping to go within the next couple of months, while I know what's what in the world around us. This is the best time of year to go, and rates are attractive right now. If you are interested in being added to the waitlist, reply to this email with the following info: - Name

- Best Month to Go: January, February, or March - On a Budget or Feeling Spendy!

Early Bird Tuition Tuition to attend the retreat will be $500 and not include airfare, lodging, or food. This tuition will cover the expense of my trip to offer it to you! Once I meet my minimum of attendees, this price will rise considerable. It then may fall again for folks traveling last minute, but it may sell out prior to my offering that. As such, early bird tuition is the way to go to ensure you aren't met with a sold-out retreat via flying standby. Your tuition is locked at the time you make your reservation. Leaders of the Retreat Hours may be earned a number of ways, including peer-led activities. If you are interested in getting some experience as a retreat leader, grab a copy of my mini-course Yoga Gig Guide by Sobi to be considered for this internship experience.j
