WHO SHOULD ATTEND THIS TRAINING? Yoga Teachers looking to add Pilates to their repertoire while earning continuing education hours for Yoga Alliance.
WHAT IS THIS TRAINING? This is a 100-hour Pilates + Yoga Fusion Teacher Training that represents CLARA PILATES, wife of Joseph Pilates. It includes our signature ACE Group Fitness certificate which aims to assist for sitting for the American Council on Exercise exam, and an additional twenty hours with Yoga Anatomy on-demand led by Leslie Kaminoff.
WHEN IS THE TRAINING?
Training will be a hybrid of in-person, on-demand, and interactive webinars for the full one-hundred hour program. Students may also choose to simply earn the 30 hours for YACEP continuing education hours, should they not aim to seek full certification. Students unable to attend in-person may opt virtual programming. You will work closely with Michelle Rae Sobi to ensure you enjoy the full curriculum.
INTENSIVE EXPERIENCE October 1, 2026 to November 15, 2026 - Tuesday In-Person Labs 2-4pm - Wednesday Webinars 2-4pm - Saturday In-Person Labs 2-4pm Prerequisite: 200hr yoga teacher training or concurrent enrollment
WHERE IS THIS TRAINING? In our Downtown Wheaton studio located at 130 W. Liberty Drive #7, Wheaton IL 60187. There are also on-demand lessons, and interactive webinars to support your learning journey.
WHY TAKE THIS TRAINING?
Pilates is raging right now for a number of reasons. There is a demand for manual labor work force seeking core strength, people losing weight with weigh-loss drugs seeking toning, and a general sense of heat amongst the people looking to burn it off. Pilates does that. Edge Yoga School will work closely in mentorship with Michelle Rae Sobi. This will cast a broader net for employment than seen with proprietary trainings offered by franchises.
