The Chakra Path to Becoming a Well-Rounded Yoga Teacher
A deeper look at how each Edge Yoga School flagship program aligns with the seven chakras.
At Edge Yoga School & Arts, our programs are designed with intention. Each one serves a specific stage of personal growth, teaching development, and professional leadership. When viewed through the lens of the chakras, a natural progression emerges — a pathway that grounds you, stabilizes you, empowers you, and ultimately elevates you.
Chakra Program Correspondence
Root: 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training
Sacral: Children’s Yoga or Prenatal Yoga
Solar Plexus: Yoga Mentorship
Heart: 300-Hour Yoga Industry Leader
Throat: AI for Yogis
Third Eye: Yoga Philosophy and Reflection Practices
Crown: Complete Pathway Pass
Below is a look at how each chakra aligns with one of our flagship programs, offering insight into the deeper purpose behind your training journey.

Root Chakra Programs
200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training
The Root Chakra represents foundation, safety, grounding, and stability. Our 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training mirrors this energy perfectly.
This program is where students learn the essential principles of yoga: alignment, anatomy, philosophy, sequencing, and safe practice. Just as the Root Chakra stabilizes the body, the 200-hour training stabilizes your path as a yoga teacher. Here, you develop confidence in your voice, clarity in your teaching, and a sense of belonging within your community.

Sacral Chakra Programs
Children’s Yoga Teacher 95-Hour or Prenatal Yoga Teacher 85-Hour
The Sacral Chakra is the center of creativity, flow, emotion, and nurturing. Our specialty programs in Children’s Yoga and Prenatal Yoga embody this energy.
These programs encourage intuitive teaching, emotional awareness, and adaptive practices. You learn to support growing families, children navigating modern stresses, and students who need compassionate space. Through these paths, you tap into playfulness, connection, and creativity in teaching.

Solar Plexus Chakra Programs
Yoga Mentorship 100-Hour
The Solar Plexus represents confidence, purpose, personal power, and transformation.
The Yoga Mentorship Program is designed to strengthen your inner fire. It helps you refine your teaching style, build consistency, and grow into your identity as a yoga professional. Through labs, feedback, and guided support, you step into your power with clarity and direction. This is where teachers shift from learning yoga to embodying it.

Heart Chakra Programs
300-Hour Yoga Industry Leader
The Heart Chakra symbolizes compassion, integration, wisdom, and deeper connection.
Our 300-Hour Yoga Industry Leader training opens the heart of your teaching practice. It invites you to lead with empathy, teach with authenticity, and serve with integrity. Here, you deepen your understanding of yoga philosophy, assist students with care, and refine your teaching voice. This program is the bridge between personal practice and professional leadership.

Throat Chakra Programs
AI for Yogis
The Throat Chakra governs communication, clarity, expression, and truth.
AI for Yogis supports teachers in finding and expressing their voice in a modern world. Whether you are writing class descriptions, creating content, designing sequences, or communicating with clients, this program helps you speak clearly, confidently, and authentically. It integrates traditional yoga wisdom with innovative communication tools for today’s digital landscape.

Third Eye Chakra Programs
Yoga Philosophy and Reflection Practices within All Programs
The Third Eye Chakra represents intuition, insight, inner guidance, and clarity of vision.
Every Edge program incorporates philosophy, reflection, and subtle body study. These practices help you see your path more clearly, recognize your unique gifts, and trust your inner teacher. Whether you are journaling, meditating, or exploring subtle body theory, you cultivate vision and intuitive understanding.

Crown Chakra Programs
The Complete Pathway Pass
The Crown Chakra symbolizes unity, expansion, and the integration of all aspects of self.
The Complete Pathway Pass is the culmination of your training journey. It brings together any three flagship programs, allowing you to weave a well-rounded, cohesive, deeply embodied teaching practice. This pathway provides the structure, support, and expansiveness needed to stand fully in your purpose as a teacher, mentor, and leader.
The chakra system offers a timeless map for growth. When paired with your yoga education, it highlights your strengths, clarifies your path, and helps you choose the trainings that best support your evolution.
