Edge Yoga School offers five Yoga Alliance registered training pathways designed to support students from foundational teacher training through advanced and specialty credentials.

200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training

Our RYS 200 program is a 200-hour foundational yoga teacher training experience. After successfully completing the program, eligible graduates may apply to Yoga Alliance for the RYT 200 credential.

300-Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training

Our RYS 300 program is a 300-hour advanced yoga teacher training experience for teachers who have already completed a qualifying 200-hour program and hold the RYT 200 credential.

After completing both the 200-hour and 300-hour trainings, eligible graduates may apply to Yoga Alliance for the RYT 500 credential. There is no RYT 300 credential.

Ayurvedic Yoga Teacher Training: Trauma-Informed Our RYS 500 program is a complete 500-hour yoga teacher training experience known as Ayurvedic Yoga Teacher Training: Trauma-Informed.

After successfully completing the program, eligible graduates may apply to Yoga Alliance for the RYT 500 credential.

Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training

Edge Yoga School is also a Registered Prenatal Yoga School, or RPYS.

Our prenatal training is an 85-hour program for teachers who have completed a qualifying RYS 200 training and hold the RYT 200 credential. Eligible graduates may apply to Yoga Alliance for the RPYT, Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher, credential.

Although the number 85 does not appear in the RPYS acronym, the registered prenatal training standard is an 85-hour educational experience.

Children’s Yoga Teacher: Trauma-Informed

Edge Yoga School is a Registered Children’s Yoga School, or RCYS.

Our children’s training is a 95-hour program for teachers who have completed a qualifying RYS 200 training and hold the RYT 200 credential. Eligible graduates may apply to Yoga Alliance for the RCYT, Registered Children’s Yoga Teacher, credential.

Although the number 95 does not appear in the RCYS acronym, the registered children’s training standard is a 95-hour educational experience.
